Read Deeply. Respond Honestly. Build Together.

Poetry grows best in community, and some of the most meaningful work we can do for one another is to sit with a poet’s work long enough to truly hear it. Manuscript Book Club is GuloGulo’s invitation to do exactly that.
Each month, a new manuscript by a member of our community becomes the center of conversation. Participants read the work in advance, arrive with their thoughts, and gather to offer the kind of sustained, generous critique that a full body of work deserves. This is not a workshop for individual poems. It is a space to engage with a poet’s vision as a whole.
How It Works
Each month a new manuscript is made available to registered participants. Members read the manuscript on their own time before the meeting, then come together on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 5 PM to share responses, observations, and feedback with the author. The session is guided by GuloGulo’s commitment to voice-preserving, constructive critique: the goal is always to help the work become more fully itself.
When and Where
Fourth Tuesday of each month 5:00 PM Wolverine Farm Publick House (516 N. College Ave., Fort Collins, CO)
Manuscript Book Club meets one hour before the regular fourth Tuesday Community Meeting, making it easy to stay for the full evening of programming.
